"The Final Product Is Always Amazing!" - Jina Brenneman, Former Curator of The Harwood Museum of Art, Taos NM

"It is a rare opportunity as a professional photographer that I get to go on a photo safari with another professional photographer. Gak actually put me in places I had to craft a photo by seeing light, the land, the history, and continuously adjust my approach with sensibility and exposure savy. I was challenged as an artist! If you are thinking of coming out to Taos and want a truly out of the way, “only local knows” photo safari, then please give Gak a call and book a trip. It was a magical day indeed. Thank you Gak Stonn!"

Cuba Adventure and Cultural Immersion

- January 4-12, 2021 -

Phil Alldritt, 22 year veteran of Cuban guiding/cultural anthropologist and Gak Stonn, professional photographer/photography workshop leader will lead a 7 day cultural enrichment adventure and photographic workshop through the heart of the Cuban backdrop. This journey will highlight the local scenery and Cuban culture as well as developing your skills as a photographer, whether with cell phones, point and shoots, or professional cameras, in environments few tourists get to see. All skill sets welcome and encouraged.

We will stay in accredited B and B’s, dine with/what the locals eat, and tour across the off-the-beaten-path countryside. Come and experience the Cuban traditions intimately. Other tour can cost $1000s more and give you much less. If you want to get out of the customary tourist sections with experienced guides and dig deep into the lifestyle of Cubans, all the while enhancing your photography skills…this is a must!

The emphasis of this adventure is epic scenery, wildlife adventures, cultural insights and getting great images.
